South Bend families are exploring what South Bend Community Schools have to offer at the district’s annual Showcase of Schools.

WSBT-TV reports that the event gives parents and students a chance to connect with teachers, principals, and community partners, while learning about the district’s academic, athletic, and extracurricular programs.

The district also aims to address competition from charter and private schools, working to keep students in the community.
