An 18-year-old is undergoing evaluations for competency and insanity.
That’s after he allegedly burglarized Janus Motorcycle in April. Police say Witham was caught on surveillance breaking into the store and stealing over a thousand dollars in gear, including a jacket and helmet.
The next day, the Goshen News says he was spotted wearing the items nearby and resisted arrest, slightly injuring two officers.
Witham’s mental evaluation is scheduled, and his trial date is set for March 31.
