The countdown to winter weather is now on and crews hope to have construction on the U.S. 20 bypass between U.S. 31 and Ironwood Drive is finished before it hits.

But INDOT says progress in the construction zone has been delayed.

The work was suppose to be finished in late-November, but now now they say it’ll be finished in mid-December.
