The Board of Public Safety changed a police officer’s status to unpaid leave following his weekend arrest.

David Finn faces a misdemeanor domestic battery charge after witnesses reported seeing him push his girlfriend to the ground after a night of drinking.

Finn, who has been with the department for two years, was already on restricted duty due to a previous off-duty incident. His leave status took effect immediately.
