Elkhart man accused of murder has trial continued

An Elkhart man accused of murder had his trial continued last week.

39-year-old Michael Dandridge was charged with the shooting murder of David Strowder that happened in March. The 911 caller stated that her brother in law, Dandridge, was the shooter and had left the scene.

The woman told police that Dandridge had come to the house looking for Strowder, went inside and shot him before calmly walking out and leaving.

Another witness claimed to have seen Dandridge and identified him through a photo lineup. His jury trial has been moved from January to April 21.
