The Community Foundation of Elkhart County is using its “Community Crisis Fund” to help people impacted by the Martin’s deadly shooting.
The foundation established their disaster relief fund in response to tornadoes in Nappanee in 2007 and that fund continues to aid others.
In the wake of Monday’s shooting, the foundation is working with city officials and appropriate nonprofit agencies to help with the grief and healing of the community.
The Community Foundation will distribute 100 percent of all contributions. If you’d like to contribute, there’s more information at the link: https://inspiringgood.org/communitycrisisfund/
