A new study out of Michigan is looking at the risks associated with one of the state’s biggest money-makers: Marijuana use.
A new JAMA Network study of 11 million people says people who smoke marijuana often can not only get addicted to it, but face a higher risk of death. WSJM reports that people with “Cannabis Use Disorder” have a six-fold elevated risk of death compared to those who don’t smoke it. The disorder can cause several issues, including psychotic behavior, intoxication, and poor driving performance.
The Detroit Medical Center says most people aren’t aware of the addictive qualities of marijuana.

This is the same phenomenon as everything in California causing cancer. Factual reality doesn’t matter when you commission research to get a specific result.
Anyone who still trusts the AMA at this point needs their head examined.
