Juvenile hospitalized after car crashes into home

A juvenile passenger in a car that crashed into a home in Cass County was taken to the hospital.
The collision happened around 2:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, in the area of M 60 and Calvin Center Rd., Penn Township, Cass County Michigan.
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by a juvenile from Elkhart as traveling westbound on M 60 at Calvin Center Road.
The driver swerved to avoid another vehicle. Upon leaving the roadway, the vehicle struck a home and came to rest. A juvenile passenger, from Vandalia, was transported  to Borgess Lee Memorial for non-life threating injuries. No one inside of the home was hurt.
Factors into the crash remain under investigation.
