Man wanted by police in Michigan, Elkhart County, arrested in St. Joseph County

A man wanted by Michigan authorities for absconding parole and a probation violation out of Elkhart County has been taken into custody.

On Friday, March 7, St. Joseph County Police obtained information regarding the whereabouts of the suspect, Isaac Burch, 44.

Due to Burch’s violent criminal history, St. Joseph Metro SWAT was activated and responded to the 63000 block of Dogwood Road in Mishawaka.

Burch was arrested without incident at the Dogwood home.

Burch is being held in the St. Joseph County Jail awaiting extradition.
