South Bend man charged after allegedly stealing SBFD vehicle

A South Bend man has been charged for an incident involving a house fire and theft.
31-year-old Ramon Villalba was taken into custody on East Calvert St. shortly after allegedly driving off in a South Bend Fire Department truck parked near the scene of a house fire.
Villalba was charged with two counts of Arson and one count of Auto Theft. A judicial officer found that there was probable cause and determined that Villalba should be held in custody pending a bond hearing.
