A 19-year-old Elkhart man was sentenced for a September armed robbery.

Isaac Duckworth was involved in a robbery at the apartments on Middlebury St. and pleaded guilty to two counts of armed robbery last week.

Duckworth also faces a pending rape charge from 2022 in which a victim claimed the incident happened at a party when Duckworth was 15.

The Goshen News says Duckworth will appear in court for the rape case, though dates are pending.

He will, in the meantime, be incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail as he serves his 20-year sentence for the robbery.
