Police are investigating a bomb threat that forced the evacuation of the Walgreens store at 200 South Nappanee Street.
A store employee called 911 on Thursday, April 24, to report a threat made by an unknown caller who claimed there was an explosive device in the building and demanded money via gift cards.
A thorough search was conducted, but no explosive devices or suspicious items were found. Investigators have since determined the threat was not credible and that there was no danger to the public.
While at the scene, officers arrested a male bicyclist on unrelated, outstanding warrants. Police say there is currently no evidence linking him to the bomb threat.
