Trial continued for man accused of trying to start gas well on fire

The man who allegedly tried to ignite an Elkhart gas station gasoline well on fire had his jury trial continued due to still awaiting results from his competency evaluations.

The Goshen News says 33-year-old Abraham Villegas Jr. was arrested after witnesses and security footage showed him lighting trash on fire and throwing it into the gas well.

His trial has been continued to August 18.
