Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith faced criticism at a town hall meeting for his controversial comments about Pride Month, including referring to it as the “Rainbow Beast.”
Beckwith defended his views, stating his issue is with certain LGBTQ+ leaders and public funding for Pride Month activities.
LGBTQ+ advocates expressed concern that Beckwith’s language perpetuates harmful stereotypes and hate speech.
Despite the backlash, Beckwith reiterated his stance against what he views as the forced affirmation of LGBTQ+ lifestyles.
Attendees, including a gay man, engaged in dialogue with Beckwith, with hopes of fostering understanding and potentially influencing his opinions on LGBTQ+ issues.

The tone behind this article from NWI does not really fit the listeners to this channel. The point of the interaction wasn’t to “foster understanding”, but was in fear about losing their protected class status (that never should have been a thing in the first place).
What one does behind closed doors is not an issue. One shoving their lifestyle in someone else’s face, IS!
Beckwith is correct in his views. No one really cares what lifestyle other wish to live. BUT they have no right to impose those ideas on others especially young impressionable kids. So is Farley!
