LaSalle Park Neighborhood Alliance Association to host public forum to discuss Kroger closure

The LaSalle Park Neighborhood Alliance Association is inviting the public to a community forum tonight.

They’ll discuss the recent closure of Kroger and recent impacts on the LaSalle Park neighborhood environment.

Residents, local leaders, media and advocates will be at the forum to discuss the lack of access to basic needs, including fresh food, healthcare and housing, in the community.

All South Bend residents are welcome to attend. It’s happening Tuesday, July 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Charles Black Community Center.

They should have had this meeting years ago, and used it to discuss the massive shoplifting and outright theft that caused Kroger to leave.

In fact, they should still have that conversation so you can save some of the other local stores before they leave too! Sadly, these people will just use this time to complain about Kroger’s decision and play the victim. Again.
