Three people were injured in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday, July 12, in Wayne Township, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say a 20-year-old Dowagiac man was driving northbound on Rudy Road, just south of Gage Street, when he lost control of the vehicle. The car veered off the right side of the road, struck an embankment, and collided with a tree before coming to rest.

The driver and his two passengers were able to exit the vehicle on their own. All three were transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

Factors into the crash remain under investigation.
