Trial has been pushed back for a man accused of attempted murder.

Emiliano Garcia Varrios is accused of shooting William Pritt IV, his daughter’s 18-year-old boyfriend, in 2023 shortly after Pritt was released from jail for allegedly battering Garcia Varrios’ wife.

Pritt was paralyzed in the shooting, and his father was also injured.

The trial has been rescheduled from August 18 to September 8 due to scheduling conflicts with his attorney.
