Congressman Rudy Yakym has voted to pass the Defense Appropriations Act of 2026.

Yakym says with America being home to the most lethal and capable fighting force, they need to ensure it stays that way.

The legislation reinforces military superiority, secures borders and supports service members and their families.

An increase of 3.8% in basic pay for all military personnel is included, as well as investments in partnerships with Israel and Taiwan.

They say it shapes a more efficient and effective Department of Defense.
