A man accused of burglarizing a barber shop has been sentenced.

It happened last summer at Braly’s Barber Den in Goshen. Police say the business had been ransacked with money stolen from the register and office, totaling around $1,000.

A laptop, barber clippers, scissors, alcohol and other items were also missing.

The Goshen News says cords were also pulled out of camera during the burglary, but nearby surveillance helped identify Ray Hammond as the suspect.

He pleaded guilty last month and was srntenced to four years at the Indiana Department of Corrections with two years suspended on probation and the remaining two years on work release.
