Elkhart murder suspect appears in court

An Elkhart man accused in a murder was seen in court last week.

Michael Dandridge of Elkhart was charged with the murder of David Strowder that happened in March of 2024.

Elkhart police found Strowder dead inside a bedroom of a home after his wife had called 911.

Witnesses claimed to have seen Dandridge come into the home and be inside for a short time before hearing gunshots and seeing Dandridge leaving.

Dandridge’s jury trial is schedueld for October 6.
