Woman sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to dealing meth

A woman has been sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to dealing meth.

Police executed a search warrant on Wolf Avenue in June of 2022 where they found several illegal items in plain view.

Meth, joints, plastic baggies, several pills, smoking pipes and more were found, most of which was located in Tara Sternaman’s bedroom.

She reportedly admitted to the police that she used the meth to help manage pain.

The Goshen News says that the judge stated that such high felony crimes were rarely granted probation, but due to Sternaman having no criminal history and her willingness to attend SPA Women’s Ministry, the state agreed to the terms of her plea agreement.

She was sentenced to 15 years with 10 on reporting probation and five served on nonreporting probation.
