One person has been arrested following a crash in Benton Township on Sunday.

Reports say a Dodge Charger was traveling west on Highland Avenue and crossed the center line, striking the side of a Benton Township police patrol car traveling east.

The Charger was driven by 28-year-old Kevin Joel Morales-Castro who was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for OWI and Driving While Unlicensed.

The sergeant sustained minor injuries and was treated at the hospital before being released.
