An Edwardsburg man remains hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash between a motorcycle and a car at State Road 23 and Douglas Road in South Bend.

The collision happened on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, when investigators say a 26-year-old South Bend woman was leaving a convenience store and turned left onto State Road 23. The 53-year-old motorcyclist was heading north bound on 23.

The woman remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation. Mr. Dinger sustained serious injuries and remains in the hospital at this time.

The crash remains under investigation by the St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team.
