Construction on a new downtown water tower will soon begin in the Town of Middlebury.

A temporary construction fence is already in place, and the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail parking lot at the end of West Spring Street will be closed until the project wraps in late 2026.

A new trailhead lot will be built as part of the project.

Contractors will use West Spring Street to deliver materials, and new “No Parking” signs have been posted to keep the narrow road clear.
