It’s 72 months in prison for a man who pleaded guilty to firearm and drug charges.

41-year-old Kevin Ellis of Mishawaka pleaded guilty to being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, meth and marijuana.

Reports say police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Ellis. They found a loaded gun, pills, marijuana and a digital scale.

During a search warrant on Ellis’ house, more drugs were found. Due to a prior federal firearms conviction, Ellis was prohibited from possessing the firearm.

He was sentenced to 72 months in prison followed by 4 years of supervised release.
