Illinois woman sentenced for fraud

A woman from Rockford, Illinois, has been sentenced in U.S. District Court in South Bend to 21 months in prison for committing fraud against her former employer.
Daneen Bilodeau, 50, pleaded guilty to wire and bank fraud for a scheme that ran from 2015 to 2019.
According to court documents, she embezzled over $426,000 by making personal purchases and withdrawing cash from the company’s account.
Bilodeau has been ordered to pay full restitution to the victim.
