Thousands of tips. Dozens of arrests. Details about Indiana’s “Operation Guardian Angel” have been released.
As Indiana students returned to school, State Police launched Operation Guardian Angel-a major push by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
In August alone, ICAC received over 2,200 CyberTips, made 48 arrests, and rescued 14 children from ongoing abuse.
The operation focused on proactive undercover investigations and public education to stop online predators.
Authorities say the mission continues, with more than 16,000 tips received so far this year.
