South Bend Community Schools unveil ‘Plan C’ to reshape grade levels

South Bend Community Schools unveiled “Plan C” Monday, a proposal to reshape grade levels and keep more students in the district.
The plan would move most elementary schools to pre-K through sixth grade and make Edison, Jackson, and Dickinson middle schools serve only seventh and eighth graders.
District leaders say families often leave due to transportation issues and too many grade configurations.
Parents at the town hall were divided, with some questioning space for sixth graders and others seeing potential benefits.
Superintendent Mansour Eid said the plan is still under discussion, with more public meetings ahead.
The meeting schedule is:
Darden Elementary, Sept. 24 at 4:30 P.M.
Harrison Elementary, Sept. 29 at 6:00 P.M.
Brown Administration Building, Sept. 30 at 9:00 A.M.
Monroe Elementary, Sept. 30 at 4:30 P.M.

It’s not transportation issues. It’s not grade configurations. It’s crappy DEI policies and an emphasis on woke delusions instead of actual education.

If the SBCSC cannot even acknowledge the truth, they will NEVER be able to solve the problems.
