Police have identified the victims in Michigan City’s weekend double homicide as 67-year-old Eddie Nixon and 66-year-old Sylvia White.

Officers found the two dead from multiple stab wounds during a welfare check at a home in the 100 block of Schofield Court.

A juvenile suspected in connection with the deaths was detained by police after crashing a vheicle at Johnson Road and County Road West 300 North in LaPorte.
