The LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men following an investigation into the deaths of two dogs.

A pet owner reported on October 21 that her Beagle was found dead near her property on County Road 150 North, with a fatal injury to its rib cage. Her other dog, a Chocolate Lab, was also reported missing and eventually found deceased.

Detectives say their investigation led to 58-year-old John Lowe, believed to be responsible for killing both dogs, and 22-year-old Hayden Lowe, accused of helping discard the Lab’s body.

Both were charged with multiple felonies and were booked into the LaPorte County Jail and later released after posting cash bonds.

This is horrible and I hope their lives are ruined in prison! Its difficult to let law enforcement handle because you just wanna deal with the people yourself. I pray court doesnt fail these babies!!
