FBI, Homeland Security Task Force target nationwide crime

The FBI Indianapolis says they are part of a new Homeland Security Task Force targeting violent crime nationwide, led by the FBI and Homeland Security Investigations.
The initiative focuses on cartels, terrorist groups, and gangs involved in serious crimes like homicide, kidnapping, and drug smuggling.
The task force is supposed to unite federal, state, and local agencies across all 50 states to combat these threats, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in protecting the American people.
Partners include the Indiana State Police, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, working together to enhance national resilience against evolving threats.
