An Elkhart man faces multiple felony charges following an Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigation.

The Elkhart County Prosecutor’s Office has charged 36-year-old William Heckaman with four counts of possession of child sex abuse material after an ICAC tip led police to his residence on South Elkhart Avenue.

Investigators say the tip included videos and images involving children appearing to be twelve or younger.

Elkhart Police executed a search warrant on November 6 and arrested Heckaman, seizing electronic devices from the home. He was booked into the Elkhart County Jail and later released after posting a $35,000 bond.
