Cass County deputies find drugs, stolen property during Calvin Township raid

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a home in the 60000 block of Eagle Point Road in Calvin Township after receiving a tip about possible stolen property.
Deputies served the warrant around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, and reported finding numerous stolen items, along with methamphetamine and a large amount of marijuana. A 55-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
Authorities say charges are being sought for possession of drugs with intent to deliver, possession of meth, maintaining a drug house, possessing a firearm during a felony, possession of stolen property, operating a chop shop, and altering or removing a vehicle identification number. His name will be released after arraignment.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team, Cass County Animal Control, SMCAS Ambulance Service, True’s Towing, and Wallace Towing.
