The South Bend Common Council has voted to allow the purchase of 1024 Indiana Ave, a historic building in the City’s Sixth District.

The property will operate as a partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of St. Joseph County and will be transformed into a community center, bringing youth and community programs to the City’s southwest side.
