Former South Bend Superintendent Todd Cummings has requested a hearing to appeal his dismissal from an Arizona school district.
The district placed him on paid leave on September 30, then voted unanimously earlier this month to remove him.
The school board says Cummings acted unprofessionally and violated his contract multiple times. They also say he told them he had not been bought out of any previous positions, despite being bought out of South Bend Schools earlier this year.
A hearing date has not been set.
