Elkhart County to host Special Olympics tournament this month

Special Olympians from across northern Indiana will take the court later this month for the Special Olympics Indiana Elkhart County Tip-Off Tournament. 

The day-long basketball tournament will be held January 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Goshen High School.

Athletes of all ages and abilities from around the state will travel to Elkhart County to compete in a high-energy showcase of skill, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Elkhart County has proudly hosted a local basketball tournament for more than 20 years. Spectators and families are welcome to attend at no cost.

The tournament emphasizes fun, friendly competition, and building friendships while highlighting the dedication and hard work of Special Olympians.
