A long-standing dining tradition returned as Redamak’s opened for its 51st season in New Buffalo.
Dozens of customers lined up outside the popular restaurant in damp weather before the doors opened at noon on Thursday, March 5.
Restaurant officials said the menu will remain the same for the 2026 season. The “working person’s special,” which was previously brought back due to strong customer demand, will also return.
Redamak’s will operate on spring hours through the early part of the season, opening Thursday through Monday from noon until 9 p.m.
The restaurant has been a popular destination in Southwest Michigan for decades and typically draws large crowds during the spring and summer tourism season.

I don’t know if they are now purchasing pre-formed patties and/or lesser quality beef, but their burgers don’t taste nearly as good as they used to. Now, they taste that same as everywhere else – nothing remarkable about them.
