Wanted felon located, arrested in LaPorte County

A man wanted on a felony warrant was taken into custody after deputies used a chemical agent to force him out of an RV in LaPorte County.
Police say deputies were called to the 6800 block of State Road 39 for a civil matter and learned 44-year-old Charles Wilson was staying on the property without permission.
Authorities also discovered Wilson was wanted in Porter County for felony resisting law enforcement.
After repeated attempts to get him to come out failed, deputies deployed a chemical agent into the RV.
Wilson eventually exited and was taken into custody.
During a search of the RV, deputies also recovered a nine-millimeter handgun.
Wilson faces charges including possession of a firearm by a violent felon.
