Police are investigating a stabbing reported Monday afternoon in downtown South Bend.

Officers with the South Bend Police Department responded to the 400 block of South Main Street around 1:25 p.m. Upon arrival, they located a man suffering from a non-life-threatening injury.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

No additional details have been released as the investigation continues.
