South Bend Police say two suspects are now facing multiple felony charges following an ongoing drug investigation.

Authorities report 28-year-old Jaylen Green and 21-year-old Deshawn Davidson Jr. were taken into custody after a traffic stop and the execution of two residential search warrants.

Investigators say they recovered more than 1,000 fentanyl pills, along with fentanyl powder and methamphetamine.

Officers also seized four firearms, including devices used to convert weapons into machine guns.

Green faces several charges, including dealing and illegal firearm possession. Davidson is charged with dealing in both a narcotic drug and methamphetamine.
