A Rolling Prairie man is facing multiple felony charges following a months-long child exploitation investigation conducted by the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say 33-year-old Trevor E. Humphrey was arrested after detectives identified him as a suspect in a case involving suspected child sexual abuse material.
The investigation began on December 10, 2025, when Detective Alex Pishkur, a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, received an assignment through the ICAC Data System. During the investigation, detectives reportedly discovered several concerning video files.
Over the following weeks, investigators executed search warrants and obtained information from multiple online platforms and service providers, which ultimately led to Humphrey’s identification.
The case was forwarded to the La Porte County Prosecutor’s Office in early March. A judge later found probable cause and issued an arrest warrant.
Police executed a search warrant at Humphrey’s residence, where he was taken into custody.
Humphrey is charged with eight counts of child exploitation as Level 4 felonies and two counts as Level 5 felonies. He is being held at the La Porte County Jail on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
