A LaPorte woman is accused of forcing two young cousins to smoke marijuana and cigarettes before giving them tattoos.
Autumn Timm, 22, is charged with two felony counts of battery and two misdemeanor counts of tattooing a minor. Police say an 11-year-old boy told investigators he was forced into a “smoking circle” at a Michigan City home and wasn’t allowed to leave until he smoked marijuana.
Authorities say a 12-year-old cousin was later involved as well.
Investigators say Timm later tattooed both boys despite them asking her to stop because of the pain. Police say the boys later tested positive for marijuana.
Timm was given a public defender during her initial court hearing and is scheduled for trial in October.
