A Nappanee man has been sentenced after admitting responsibility for severe injuries suffered by his infant daughter.

29-year-old Brady Rouch pleaded guilty to neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury.

Prosecutors said the two-month-old child suffered a brain bleed, broken bones and other injuries.

The Goshen News says during sentencing, Rouch acknowledged repeatedly tossing the infant into the air and accidentally dropping her.

He received an 11-year sentence, with portions to be served in prison, community corrections and probation.
