The City of South Bend’s Ordinance Violations Bureau will offer its annual Parking Ticket Fee Amnesty Day on Friday, July 24.
The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at South Bend City Hall, 215 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
During the one-day event, drivers can pay outstanding parking tickets without having to pay accumulated late fees. The amnesty applies only to citations paid on July 24 and does not include tickets that have already been referred to the city’s Legal Department for collection or other legal action.
City officials encourage anyone with eligible unpaid parking citations to take advantage of the program before the amnesty period ends.
Residents seeking additional information can contact the Ordinance Violations Bureau at 574-235-9462.
