South Bend’s Summer Restaurant Weeks kick off Friday and run through August 9.

Participating restaurants and bars will offer special menus and signature cocktails, giving diners a chance to explore local favorites and new destinations downtown.

The event also features a cocktail competition, with guests voting for their favorite drinks. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Beacon Children’s Hospital.
