Elkhart city leaders are taking City Hall on the road this summer.

The city’s free “City Hall in the Park” series begins Tuesday evening at 6 at Weston Park. Residents are invited to meet with city leaders, enjoy food, activities for kids, community resources and prize giveaways.

Mayor Rod Roberson says the event is designed to make city government more accessible to the public.

The series will also stop at Roosevelt Park on August 20 and Walker Park on September 17.
