A teenage driver suffered serious injuries after a crash in Marshall County.
Deputies say a 16-year-old was driving east on 12th Road when, for reasons still under investigation, the SUV left the roadway and slammed into a utility pole before hitting a tree.
The crash happened just after 8:20 a.m. on Sunday, July 26.
The teen was taken to the hospital for treatment.
