A 33-year-old Stevensville man has been formally charged following an armed disturbance last week in Lincoln Township.
Stephan Morgan was arraigned in Berrien County Court after investigators completed their investigation into the incident, which happened July 31 in the 2500 block of West Glenlord Road.
Morgan faces charges of making a false report or threat of terrorism, carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent, and three counts of felony firearm.
Police were called to the scene after receiving reports of a fight involving a firearm. Officers arrived to find that people at the scene had already restrained the suspect. No injuries were reported.
Morgan remains in custody pending future court proceedings.
The Lincoln Township Police Department says the investigation remains active. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department.
