A corrections deputy with the St. Joseph County, Michigan Sheriff’s Office is on paid administrative leave following an arrest earlier this week.
The deputy was taken into custody Tuesday, but officials have not disclosed the reason for the arrest.
The Three Rivers Police Department is leading the investigation, while the sheriff’s office says the deputy is being held in the Kalamazoo County Jail pending further proceedings.
