Man arrested after trying to pull knife on Goshen police

A Goshen man is facing an intimidation charge after police say he tried to pull a knife during an encounter with an officer.
Officers were called to the Comfort Inn on Lincoln Way East after receiving a report of a man who would not leave the property.
Police identified the man as 51-year-old Kevin McKenzie.
Investigators say McKenzie attempted to pull a knife on one of the responding officers.
McKenzie was arrested and taken to the Elkhart County Jail, where he is being held on an intimidation charge.​
